What is InstaMovie.com?

We created InstaMovie.com because we recognize the need to develop a web based movie distribution system.

We are currently marketing the site to Distributors, to give them a one stop shop for Independent Filmmakers.

In the near future InstaMovie.com will be a place where filmmakers can distribute their film on the internet. Utilizing the Internet to Distribute Movies means less advertising dollars, and more income potential. You may be asking this: "How do you get people to pay for movies they can download for free?" 

Digital Rights Technology is the answer. Movies will be encoded in a manner that prevents unauthorized viewing.

Here is an example of how it can work.

1. The move is downloaded and the user tries to play it.
2. The Player then checks the users status with InstaMovie.com.
3. If the user does not have a current subscription, the movie will not play.
4. If the user does have a valid subscription, then the movie plays as much as the user wants.

Each time it is played it will be recorded by the InstaMovie server. Royalties are computed and the filmmaker is paid based on the popularity of the film.
